Sports at DPSM
DPSM offers a variety of sporting activities aimed to improve the health and fitness of our students, nurture individual talents, whilst enabling them to enjoy the recreational benefits it offers. Exposure to individual and team skills through competitive sports inculcates a sense of sportsmanship, a school-wide community spirit and a feeling of individual accomplishment amongst students.
Trust, commitment, self-discipline, honesty, respect for the opponent and most importantly, grace and stoicism, whether you win or lose, is at the heart of all sports lessons at DPS Mehsana.

Club Activities
As club activities, out of school children go to Verbier Switzerland. Students are also engaged in hill-walking, camp craft and nature walks, in addition to theory lessons.
Specialized Training
Students who show strong aptitude in certain select sports are provided the opportunity to further focus and build on their competency with the provision of extra training and exposure to competitions.
Sports Facilities
The School sports facilities include a state-of-the-art AstroTurf football field, indoor Badminton Courts, Judo and Taekwondo training space, a Volleyball Court, Basketball Courts, Lawn Tennis Courts, Rope Malkhamb facilities and a Long-Jump Pit.
Competitions & Achievements
Inter-house and inter-school competitions organised by students for Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Cricket, Judo, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Football, Touch Rugby, Swimming, Squash, March Past and Tug-of-war provide them with experience of organising, administering and officiating sports events. International training camps in India and abroad in Football, Skiing, Judo, Basketball, and Cricket help them hone their skills and excel at these sports. Our students have brought laurels to the School by winning many sporting events at the district, state, national and international levels. DPS Mehsana has often been adjudged among the best co-educational schools in sports, a fitting acknowledgment of our many sporting achievements.
