1. Tele Communication by Students

STD/ISD facility is available for the students to communicate with their parents and relatives. They can make phone calls once in a week for eight to ten minutes as per the schedule.

However, there is a privilege of keeping a mobile phone for students of Std. 9 to 12. They are allowed to draw and use mobile on Sundays for limited time period. Also, to ensure safety during their self-outing and journey to home town, they are allowed to draw and use mobile phone. They will deposit the mobile at the time of entry in the hostel. Since it is a privilege, it can be curtailed at any time by hostel management.

During the use and custody, students will be responsible for any loss or damage or untoward incident and mobile photography in the campus is not allowed without prior permission.

On occasion of birthday, students are allowed to talk to their kith and kin before going to school and any time during the day after coming from the hostel office.

Considering the huge strength and comprehensive schedule of the hostel students, it will not be always possible to make student available for phone call. So, parents are requested not to insist on the same. They may convey message in such cases.

2. Tele Communication by Parents

As hostel is the link between school and parents, parents are requested to make all correspondences regarding their ward through hostel office only for better clarity and effective communication. They may also send their applications by post or email at hostel@dpsmehsana.in.

Parents should also follow the following schedule for direct communication with concerned person and specific cause in our office. Parents may contact hostel office on +91 92745 53452, +91 92745 09275 as specified below.

• Leave application and other queries: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Student's well-being: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Accounts: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

However, in cases of urgency, they may contact our office at any time on the numbers given above.

Store

A student's store has been set up to cope with the needs of the students such as stationery, accessories, toiletries, etc. The students may purchase items as per necessity through store purchase card.

Spiritual, literature, religious DVDs, CDs and idols for worship are available at the store.
